Early test for ragwort poisoning
Professor Derek Knottenbelt is involved in the development of a diagnostic blood test for Ragwort poisoning in horses. These areas are major causes of welfare problems and economic losses to the equine industry and his research philosophy is to try to understand better some of the major clinical problems in horses.
